Privacy policy

This website belongs to Eden Homeworks (Dave Walker), Penrith, Cumbria. It collects as little about you as it can get away with. In plain English:

The contact form

If you send a message through the contact form, the site collects the details you type: your name, telephone number, email address, the service you are asking about, and your message. They are used for exactly one thing - answering your enquiry - and are delivered to Dave by email. A copy of the enquiry is also kept on the web server so nothing is lost if an email goes astray. Enquiry details are never sold, shared or used for marketing lists.

Analytics (only if you accept)

The site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find it - but only if you press Accept on the cookie banner. Until then, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. If you decline, that choice is remembered in your browser and the subject never comes up again. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally; Internet Protocol addresses are anonymised.

Cookies this site can set

• Session cookie (essential) - required for the contact form’s security protections.
• Cookie-consent choice (essential, stored in your browser) - remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics.
• Google Analytics (optional) - set only after you accept.

Phoning or messaging on WhatsApp

If you call or use WhatsApp, your number appears on Dave’s phone the same way it would for anyone you contact. WhatsApp’s own privacy policy governs what WhatsApp does; this site sends nothing to WhatsApp about you.

Your rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation you can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. There is no customer database here - just enquiry emails and their server-side copies - so requests are simple to honour. Call 07585 802940 or use the contact form.
