Small jobs are fine. After a big blow there is usually a queue, so call early - repairs are scheduled in the order they come in.

Which fencing lasts longest?

It depends on exposure more than style. Dave will look at what the wind does on your boundary and recommend honestly - sometimes the cheaper option is genuinely the right one.
